Easter Reese’s Chocolate Bunny

Using chocolate candies like Reese’s Cups and Tootsie Rolls to make cute edible crafts for Easter is so much fun for kids and making these Reese’s Cup Easter Bunny treats is super easy too. Each chocolate peanut butter filled bunny looks as though he is sitting in a grassy field on a sunny day.

The bunnies are attached to a graham cracker that has been frosted with sky blue frosting and green frosting grass. Each little chocolate bunny silhouette also has floppy ears and a fluffy tail. Kids of all ages will not only love making these treats but eating them too.

Supplies Needed To Make This Easter Reese’s Chocolate Bunny Treat

Ingredients for Reese's Chocolate Bunny- on wood board Reese's, Tootsie rolls, graham crackers, blue and green food coloring, white frosting — These are the supplies needed: graham crackers, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Tootsie rolls, food coloring, white frosting.

You’ll Need:

white frosting – about 1 tablespoon per bunny
blue food coloring
green food coloring
graham crackers – 1 per bunny
Tootsie Roll Midgies – 1 per bunny
Reese’s Cups – 1 regular sized peanut butter cup and 1 mini per bunny

How To Make These Super Cute and Sweet Easter Reese’s Chocolate Bunny Treats

Instructions:

Step 1

Reserve a small amount of white frosting to make the bunny tails. Put it in a small zip top bag and snip off one bottom corner. Color 7/8ths of the frosting blue, leaving white streaks throughout. Color 1/8th of the frosting green.

Spread some of the blue frosting over all but about an inch at one end of each graham cracker. You can make the green look like grass, by creating little spikes of frosting.

Step 3

Flatten the Tootsie Roll Midgees. If they are really fresh this will be easy, if not, you may need to heat them in the microwave on the defrost setting for about 5-8 seconds.

Step 4

Use kitchen scissors to cut two bunny ears out of each Tootsie Roll. Snack on the scraps.
