Ingredients Needed to Make Candy Ice Pops
- Favorite candy*
- Lemonade
*Some of the sweet candy that my children chose for their popsicle ice pops included candied fruit wedges, gummy rope, jelly beans, gummy bears, licorice sticks, even some silly gummy spiders.
Supplies Needed to Make Candy Popsicles
- Popsicle mold or paper Dixie cup and popsicle stick
- Freezer
Directions to Make Candy Popsicles
Step 1
Place one or two pieces of candy in each popsicle mold.
Step 2
Fill the mold near full with lemonade.
Step 3
Freeze overnight or until fully frozen.

Make these homemade popsicles your own!
- Instead of lemonade add coconut water and Greek yogurt for creamy popsicles.
- Don’t like candy? Mix in a fruit puree sweetened with maple syrup. Or maybe add your favorite fruit or whole fruit like berries.
- Use orange juice instead of lemonade or whatever your favorite use is to make delicious homemade ice pops.
- Add a combination of different flavors. Like pudding and peanut butter for some rich and easy homemade popsicles.
Finished Candy Filled Ice Pop
The frozen treat of a candy filled popsicle is so awesome and yummy! In fact, we thought the finished products were almost too gorgeous to eat! They look almost like frozen art. But that didn’t actually slow the kids down. They said these candy popsicles were as yummy as they were beautiful!
Our Experience Making Candy Ice Pops
Recently a candy store moved into our neighborhood. Of course, our kids were elated! We wanted to limit the amount of sugar the kids were consuming, and still enjoy the magic, fun and “event” of the candy store.
Each of our kids (we have six kiddos) got to pick a child sized handful of candy. After eating one piece of candy we put the rest of the treats into Popsicle molds. Then we filled the molds up with lemonade and froze them.
