These homemade candy necklaces make me thing of those classic candy necklaces that were made with chalky candies except this candy necklace version tastes much better!

Note: If you are concerned about clothing, let your kids wear and eat these in old grubby clothes or just run around without a shirt on for a time. Trust me, the candy jewelry won’t last long.

Directions To Make Your Own Candy Necklace and Bracelet

Step 1

Measure out the proper length needed for a bracelet or necklace.

Then let your child thread the candy on the cord.

Have them make a tasty pattern on each, mixing up the different candies used.

Our Experience Making Candy Jewelry

• We do pizza movie night in the evening. The kids arrive home from school, and there is no homework or chores – only play.
• This past Friday, I thought it would be fun to make these DIY candy necklaces and bracelets that the kids could wear and enjoy during the movie.
• Were they a little sticky? Yes. Are they full of sugar? Yes.
• I think it’s important to let go of the typical mom role and embrace the sticky fun to create memorable times with your family. It was definitely a memorable family movie night!
