Directions To Make Halloween Eyeball Lantern

Halloween eyeball decorations like this eyeball lantern is filled with fake eyeballs, has an LED light in it, and covered in green netting and plastic bugs.
This Halloween lantern is one of my favorite Halloween eyeball decorations.

Step 1

Start by taking off the lid to plastic jar and filling it with plastic eyeballs. Pack them tightly so that they don’t move around freely in the jar.

Step 2

Now, use some double-sided tape to attach the votive candle to the underside of the lid. Be sure to turn candle on before tapping it to the lid. Don’t glue this or you won’t be able to turn the votive candle back off.

Step 3

Next, screw the lid onto the jar. You may need to move eyeballs around a bit so that the votive fits inside the jar.

Step 4

Finally, take some scary cloth drape it over the jar but make sure you can still see the eyeballs. Once you have the cloth where you like it, glue it to the jar to secure it in place.

How To Use Your Creepy Halloween Eyeball Lantern Craft

So, what’s the point of making this creepy eyeball lantern? Because it’s amazing?! But that aside, it makes great Halloween décor. You can use this as party of your seasonal Halloween décor. Use it to decorate your Halloween party, whether it’s at home or in the classroom. Or you can use a string and let your little one carry it around. Though if you use it that way, I suggest a plastic mason jar. You could even use it to line your porch on Halloween night and light up the spooky night.
