  • The block pattern can also be used as a little treat box – Make sure to glue the side and bottom together but leave the top un-glued so that you can open it and fill with whatever treats you’d like.
  • You could easily make some of these mini pumpkin printables and fill them up with Halloween treats and leave them on a decorated table.
  • This project is great for scissor and paper construction practice. You might need to help with the cutting and then encourage your child to help fold and glue the box together.

Our Experience With This Halloween Pumpkin Paper Craft

My kids loved making these. My little one needed a bit more help than my older kiddo, but that’s fine. We don’t want to leave anyone left out while making paper pumpkin crafts.

But this was so simple and didn’t require construction paper like most paper pumpkins or even strips of paper beyond the printable. This is a great kids craft that makes not only an easy pumpkin, but minimum crafting supplies.

Plus, these Halloween pumpkins are a great way to hand out candy to kids whether you’re using them for Halloween or a Halloween party favor. And the best part is you can make these in September and October. It’s never too early to make a Halloween pumpkin!
