Making Handprint Art at Home & in the Classroom

So many of our favorite handprint crafts are holiday-related. I think it is one of the easiest art projects to do as a classroom or family. And what is so fun about handprint art is it becomes a memory of a moment in time when little hands were exactly that size. Oh, and it is a great gift idea!

Using ink for handprints (and footprints) can be a nostalgic journey back to our very first print in the hospital.  Traditional ink may be safe, but it is not easy to remove!  There are now non-toxic and washable ink pad varieties that create the definition without the mess.   3. Handprint crafts are so special. My kids have grown so fast, and I am so glad I took the time to make some of these memories with them. Their hands aren’t as small anymore!
