Easy Apple Bookmark Craft

There are so many great uses for this apple craft. This fall bookmark craft is a ton of fun to make and pretty easy as well. We recommend adult supervision for this apple craft.

Supplies Needed To Make An Apple Bookmark Craft

Directions To Make An Apple Bookmark

Step 1- DIY bookmarks ideas- -Cut red and green felt to match your paper template.
Cute out the template and cut the felt to match.

Step 1

Print out the apple pattern and cut it out. You will need 2 sets of everything cut from felt (stem, leaf, apple).

Step 2 - DIY bookmarks ideas- -Add leftover felt to the clips with hot glue.
Add leftover felt to the clips with hot glue.

Step 2

From the leftover felt scraps, cut two strips to fit inside the hair clip.

Step 3

Squeeze the end of the hair clip to open it and hot glue the felt strips to the inside of the prongs. This will keep the clip from getting stuck together when you glue the apples on.

Step 3- DIY bookmarks ideas- - Add the green felt apple to the clip with hot glue.
Add the green felt apple to the clip with hot glue.

Step 4

Glue the hair clip to one of the apples, right in the center.

Step 4- DIY bookmarks ideas- Then add the step using brown felt on the green apple.
The green apple is complete! Add a stem and leaf if you want.

Step 5

Glue the second apple on top, covering the visible hair clip.

These colorful apple bookmarks are perfect to not only work on learning the letter A for smaller kids, but a fun fall or back to school craft for older kids.
